Previously I wrote about the use of the word wind in pop music, but today my thoughts turn, like everyone else's around here, or so it seems, to storms, as we await Hurricane Matthew's arrival. This music video essay shows the results of a search for lemma of "storm" in songs from Billboard's year-end Top 10 charts (1951-2015), as well as the single hit for hurricane in the collection.
